A 29-year-old Oklahoma City man died Saturday evening in a crash involving four vehicles on the Turner Turnpike, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol accident report.
Shortly before 10 p.m., a 2003 Honda Civic driven by Raymond Lane entered the turnpike while traveling east at the Wellston on-ramp when the car hit a 2014 Chrysler 300 head-on, the report said. A 2013 Ford F-150 and a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado hit the Chrysler, which was disabled in the inside lane, according to the report.
Lane was pronounced dead at the scene, OHP officials said.
The driver of the Chrysler 300 was taken to a metro hospital in "guarded" condition with head and leg injuries, according to the report. No one, including three children, in the other two vehicles were injured, officials said.
Lane was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, officials said. The cause of the wreck and Lane's condition are under investigation.
