TULSA, OK : Chihuahua causes truck crash in midtown Tulsa on Thursday, 9th May 2024

The Tulsa Police Department said a Chihuahua jumped into the lap of a man driving a truck and caused him to collide with a power pole Thursday morning.Police say officers responded to a crash on East 21st Street just east of Lewis and found a teal truck had crashed into a power pole. The driver of the truck was complaining of chest pain and was concerned about his Chihuahua's safety.

Officers found the Chihuahua unresponsive in the floorboard of the truck with a laceration on the head, police say. EMSA and Tulsa Fire arrived on scene and began treating the driver and the dog.
