College Park, MD : At least 27 hurt in University of Maryland-College Park bus crash on Tuesday, 3rd October 2023

Authorities said they received a report at around 10:20 a.m. about a single-vehicle crash involving a bus that hit a light pole in the southbound lane of Baltimore Avenue near the off-ramp to University Boulevard, according to Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department and the University of Maryland Police Department.

Authorities said 27 people were hurt, one of whom was a pedestrian. All were treated for minor injuries.
