Columbia County, NY : One motorist killed in one-vehicle crash in Columbia County Highway 113 on Thursday October 15 2015

A motorist was killed Thursday in a one-vehicle crash in Columbia County, the sheriff's office said.
The crash was reported shortly before 3 p.m. on State Highway 113 about a half mile north of Chrislaw Road near Lodi, though it might have happened about 10:30 a.m., according to a news release from the Columbia County Sheriff's office.
The vehicle was southbound on the highway when it is believed to have entered the east ditch, where it crashed into a utility pole and landed in a ravine.
