NEWBERRY COUNTY, SC : Crashes causing heavy backup on I-26 in Newberry on Thursday, 18th April 2024

The Newberry County Sheriff's Office is warning drivers that it is "almost impossible to get to Columbia" right now due to a traffic accident on I-26.

The sheriff's office said the crash happened on the eastbound side of I-26 near mile marker 89 between exits to Pomaria and Chapin and involved multiple tractor-trailers.
