Chicopee, MA : Woman killed and two other people injured in a three-car crash in Chicopee on Monday, Oct 26, 2015

A woman was killed and two other people were injured in a three-car crash in Chicopee.

Officer Michael Wilk says the accident happened at around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

The victim was identified on Tuesday as 72-year-old Janet Case of Chicopee. She was driving one of the vehicles involved.

Wilk says the other two people who were injured were taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. They are expected to survive their injuries, but a Ludlow man remained in serious condition on Monday.

The crash remains under investigation.
