ALVA, OK : Alva woman was killed in an accident on Tuesday, 10th April 2018

An Alva woman was killed in an accident Tuesday morning near Alva.

Mamie Ellen Hada, 62, was taken to Share Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead of arm, leg and trunk injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.

The accident happened on LeFlore Road, about 6 miles west and 8 miles north of Alva in Woods County.

According to the report, Hada was run over by a stock trailer being backed up by Allen Neil Hada, 67, of Alva. They were loading cattle when a calf got loose and ran west on LeFlore Road. Allen Hada drove a 2001 Chevrolet pickup pulling the trailer west after the calf. To push the calf back into the pen, the driver started backing and did not see Mamie Hada. Mamie Hada was hit, fell and run over by the trailer, according to the report.
