COLORADO SPRINGS, CO : 2 seriously injured after pickup appears to run stop sign, crashes into motorcycle in Old Colorado City on Monday, 15th July 2024

Two people were seriously injured after police say a pickup truck ran a stop sign and collided with a motorcycle.

The crash was reported just after 1:30 at the intersection of 20th Street and Uintah in Old Colorado City.

“It appears a truck was northbound on 20th Street approaching Uintah, motorcycle was eastbound on Uintah,” said Sgt. Alterae Rogers with the Colorado Springs Police Department. “Both vehicles collided in the intersection.”

A driver of the pickup was trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed by firefighters.
