Woman killed in motorcycle training class crash in New York
A 39-year-old woman has died after she crashed her motorcycle in a suburban Syracuse mall parking lot where she was taking a training class with her husband.The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports ( that police in the town of DeWitt confirm that a woman died in a motorcycle accident around 10 a.m. Sunday at ShoppingTown Mall. They haven't released any other details.Relatives of Marianne Pitcher say she died after crashing during a pre-licensing motorcycle training class she was taking with her husband. Family members say the couple from Elbridge was planning to take a motorcycle vacation trip next summer.Pitcher, a manager at a fast-food restaurant, was taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, where she was pronounced dead.
