BALDWIN COUNTY, AL : Atmore man dies in Baldwin County crash on Friday, 19th April 2024

An Atmore man died Friday morning in a single vehicle crash in Baldwin County.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Derrel D. Williams, 34, was fatally injured when the 2010 Mercury Milan he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Troopers said Williams was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

The crash happened around 6:31 a.m. on U.S. 31 near the 34 mile marker in Baldwin County, about 7 miles south of the Atmore city limits, ALEA said.
