Jacksonville, FL : Daniel Bryant Dufek, 31, died and 1-year-old passenger injured in a fiery crash on Interstate 95 in Jacksonville early Friday, Nov 20, 2015

A Lake City man was killed and his 1-year-old passenger was critically injured in a fiery crash early Friday on Interstate 95 in Jacksonville.
Their northbound sport utility vehicle ran off the highway just south of Baymeadows Road and struck several trees before overturning and catching fire about 1:15 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Witnesses were able to get Avalyn D. Dufek, of Lake City out of the car so she could be taken to UF Health hospital but Daniel Bryant Dufek, 31, died at the scene.

Both were wearing seat belts.
