Middleton, WI : Two people injured in a car versus dump truck crash on Highway 14 west of Middleton on Wednesday, February 4, 2015

Two people were injured when their vehicle was struck by a dump truck in Middleton on Wednesday.

A westbound 2013 Toyota Prius driven by Gerald Robertson, 64, of Middleton was turning into a driveway when it was struck by a 2005 Mack truck driven by Caleb Schuster, 24, of Marshall. Schuster swerved to avoid another westbound vehicle that was slowing behind Robertson's vehicle, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Department.

Robertson and a passenger, Judy Robertson, 66, were taken to UW Hospital. Schuster was cited for following too closely.
