Gadsden, AL : Kerry Chriswell died in a single-vehicle crash in Calhoun County on Sunday morning, July 17, 2016

A Gadsden man died Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Calhoun County, according to the Calhoun County Coroner’s office.

Kerry Chriswell was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash east of Seven Springs Road on Alabama 204.

The crash occurred at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday as Chriswell was driving a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser, headed east, on his way to work. The vehicle ran into the right shoulder of the road, overturned several times, and landed in a culvert.

The wreck is under investigation.
