Milton, VT : Colchester man killed in fatal crash on Route 2 east of Sand Bar State Park on Wednesday, March 16, 2016

Police are investigating a fatal crash in Milton. It happened on Route 2 east of Sand Bar State Park just before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say Gibson Cunningham, 69, of Colchester, was found unresponsive at the scene and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Investigators say it looks like Cunningham crossed the center line before striking a tree. Authorities say there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol at the scene.
