Lancaster, South Carolina
One person was killed in a motorcycle crash in Lancaster Thursday night.
The two-motorcycle crash happened around 7:18 p.m. on Knotty Pine Drive at Providence Road.
Deputies say 48-year-old Fred Newton Jr. of Lancaster died on the scene.
The other rider went to Springs Memorial Hospital and then to Carolinas Medical Center in unknown condition.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
The crash remains under investigation.
