SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA : 3 children, 4 adults hospitalized after multi-car crash in South LA on Wednesday, 4th October 2023

Seven people were injured when a wanted robbery suspect crashed into a vehicle at high speed Wednesday in the Florence-Firestone neighborhood of South Los Angeles, officials said.

The collision occurred shortly after 1 p.m. in the 200 block of West 81st Street, just east of the 110 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Los Angeles police say officers were looking for the suspect but had not initiated a pursuit when the crash occurred.
