CENTRAL, LA : 4 injured in crash on Greenwell Springs Road in Central on Thursday, 12th September 2024

The Central Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that left one person dead and four others injured on Thursday evening, Sept. 12.

Officials identified the victim as Juan Guerra, of Greenwell Springs.

The crash happened around 7:20 p.m. in the 2100 block of Greenwell Springs Road and Lighthouse Avenue.

According to Central Police, Guerra was driving a 2015 Nissan Rogue on Greenwell Springs Road when, for unknown reasons, the passenger side tires of his vehicle left the asphalt on the west side of the road where there was no shoulder.
