NEWBURY, VT ; 1 dead after crash in Newbury on Sunday, 28th July 2024

Police say one person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Newbury.

It happened Sunday at about 5:30 a.m. on Wallace Hill Road.

Vermont State Police say Daniel Sweet, 22, of Newbury, was headed north on Wallace Hill Road when his Jeep went off the road near Stark Trail and rolled over, ejecting him.

Sweet died of his injuries.
