Port Orange, FL : Pedestrian hit, killed in Port Orange crash on Monday night, December 22, 2014

A person was hit and killed after crossing a Volusia County road on Monday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Investigators said the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk when hit on 17-92 and May Street. The driver did stop and call 911, troopers said. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, but died a short time later. No charges have been filed. Source : Troopers: Pedestrian hit, killed in Port Orange crash
