ST. LOUIS, MO : Driver dies after crashing into building early Friday in north St Louis on Friday, 19th April 2024

A man died early Friday morning after his SUV crashed into a home in north St. Louis.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the deadly one-vehicle crash happened at about midnight Friday in the 5200 block of Plover Avenue, located in the city's Walnut Park East neighborhood.

Police said the driver, 36-year-old Lester White, was speeding southbound on Theodore Avenue when he left the roadway and crashed into a home.
