Chattanooga, TN : Motorcycle driver critically injured after South Crest Road crash on Monday, 26th March 2018

The driver of a Suzuki GSXR sport motorcycle lost control of his bike and crashed Monday morning on South Crest Road, critically injuring himself, according to Chattanooga police.

Two sport bikes were traveling fast headed south on South Crest Road around 11:30 a.m. when the Suzuki driver, who was wearing a helmet, braked hard and lost control. Emergency personnel took the victim to a local hospital, police said.

The motorcycle had been reported stolen from Marshall County, Ala., authorities said.

Police identified the victim as Brandon L. Quarles, 34.
