A 19-year-old borough resident was killed Saturday night after his vehicle went over a hillside near Bridge Street and Wampum Avenue.
Benjamin Junkin, of 616 Todd Ave., was driving south on Bridge Street at 9:46 p.m. when he lost control of his brakes, according to an Ellwood City police report.Two passengers in the vehicle, Kaileah Vellone, 21, of Ellwood City, and Haley Vellone, 17, of Taylor Township, were taken to Ellwood City Medical Center and then transferred to Heritage Valley Beaver hospital for treatment. No condition report was available on them Monday.
