Longmont, CO : Boulder coroner IDs Longmont man killed in Niwot crash on Wednesday, 26th October, 2016

The Boulder County Coroner's Office identified a man killed in a three-vehicle collision on Wednesday as 19-year-old Jared Lizakowski, of Longmont.

The coroner's office will conduct and autopsy to determine Lizakowski's cause and manner of death, according to a news release.

Lizakowski was driving his motorcycle on Niwot Road near Quiet Retreat Court on Wednesday afternoon when officials at the Colorado State Patrol say he skidded out and struck a parked sport utility vehicle.

Following the crash, Lizakowski was thrown from his motorcycle and struck by a second sport utility vehicle. He was pronounced dead at Boulder Community Health's Foothills Hospital a few hours later.

The drivers of the SUVs, both 54-year-old men, were not injured and remained on scene.

Investigators do not suspect drugs or alcohol but believe speed might have played a role in the crash.
