Nashville, TN : Motorcyclist killed after being involved in a three vehicle crash along Briley Parkway on Sunday evening, March 8, 2015

One person has died after a crash involving two motorcycles and a car on Briley Parkway.

Officers said the wreck was reported at 6:46 p.m. Sunday in the northbound lanes of State Route 155 near exit 26 in Davidson County.

Details of how the crash happened were not available, but authorities confirmed one of the motorcycle drivers was killed.

A second motorcycle driver was taken to St. Thomas hospital for minor injuries, according to officials.

Police said no one in the car was hurt. No identities have been released.

Northbound traffic was down to one lane, and motorists were being diverted to alternate routes.

Southbound traffic was experiencing rubbernecking delays.

Crews expected the roadway to be clear by midnight.
