Topeka, KS : 1 injured in 2-vehicle crash at S.W. 3rd and MacVicar in west Topeka on Saturday, 6th October 2018

A two-vehicle crash on a rain-slickened west Topeka street resulted in one person being transported to a local hospital, police said at the scene.

The collision occurred around 8:04 a.m. at S.W. 3rd and MacVicar.

Police said a gold-colored Chevrolet Impala and a blue Toyota Highlander sport utility vehicle collided at the intersection.

Both vehicles came to rest facing each other in the center of the street.

Police said the driver of the Impala was taken to a local hospital after the collision. There was no immediate report on the extent of injuries.
