Clatsop County, OR : Fatal crash on Hwy 26 in Clatsop County on Saturday, 5th September, 2020

Oregon State Police (OSP) and emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash at 8:27 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, on Hwy 26 near milepost 30. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford F350 pickup was westbound when it drove off the roadway and down an embankment.

The operator and lone occupant sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. The operator of the Ford is identified as Kevin Hollenbeck of Seaside.

OSP was assisted by the Banks Fire Department and Elsie Fire Department.
