MISHAWAKA, OR : Crash blocks Hwy 26 near Milepost 24, east of Nehalem River in Oregon Coast Range on Wednesday, 26th July 2023

A major crash blocked Highway 26 in both directions for much of Wednesday afternoon just east of the Nehalem River.

The Oregon Department of Transportation reported the crash at about 2 p.m. near milepost 24, which is west of Mishawaka.

There are no initial reports on how many vehicles are involved, or whether anyone was hurt in the crash.

The highway was back open by about 5 p.m.
