Zionsville, IN : Occupants flee car after crash on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016

A man from New York was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident after being chased down by Zionsville Police officers.

Based on information dispatched and on the public information log, the incident began about 5:20 p.m., Tuesday with the report of a minor crash on Oak Street near the Zionsville Post Office. When police arrived, they found that the occupants from one of the vehicles — two black men and a black woman — had left their car and fled the scene on foot. One of the men and the woman were sighted at Boone Village getting into a Yellow Cab, and police were able to stop them, but the second man was not with them.
