Hopkinton, MA : One person died in a rollover crash on Monday afternoon July 21st 2014

Police say one person is dead after a single-vehicle rollover in Hopkinton.

Police say they responded to West Main Street at about 3:45 p.m. on Monday where they found the car on its roof and the driver unconscious.

Emergency workers performed first aid on the driver, who was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center and declared dead.

The driver's identity was not immediately disclosed.

A preliminary investigation shows that the car was driving west when it crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a utility pole before rolling over.

The crash remains under investigation.
