Columbus, GA : Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle on bridge on early Friday morning August 22nd 2014

Authorities are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle on a bridge in Columbus. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said the death of the woman, whose name wasn't immediately released, is considered accidental. The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reports that the crash happened sometime Thursday night or early Friday, and the exact time was not immediately available.
