A 28-year-old Hubertus man was killed in a two vehicle crash in Germantown Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The crash was reported shortly after 4 p.m. on Appleton Ave. just north of Willow Creek Road, Germantown Police Captain Mike Snow said.

The Hubertus man was in a passenger car that collided with a large truck, Snow said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the truck, a 52-year-old Menomonee Falls man, was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, Snow said.

The crash remained under investigation Tuesday night and no further details were available.
