WADENA, MN : Wadena crash injures 2 on Wednesday, December, 20th 2017
The Wadena County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday of a vehicle crashing into a building on Jefferson Street in Wadena, injuring two people.
Upon the arrival of the Wadena Police Department, a Chevrolet SUV was found to have crashed through the front of the Ameriprise Financial Building. The two injured victims were tended to and transported by Tri-County Ambulance to Tri-County Healthcare with minor injuries.
The occupants were identified as Joydell Nealis, 25, of Wadena and Adam Sanders, 29, of Wadena. Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash and both Nealis and Sanders were wearing seat belts, Wadena police reported. No bystanders or employees of Ameriprise were injured in the crash.
The Wadena Police Department was assisted by the Wadena County Sheriff's Office, Tri-County Ambulance, Wadena Fire Department, and John's Car Care.
