Boise,ID : Boise Police officer sent to hospital following I-84 crash on may, Sunday 28th 2017

A Boise Police officer and another woman were sent the hospital late Sunday following a crash on I-84 near Meridian.
Idaho State Police troopers say the crash happened when something fell out of a pickup truck. Boise Police officer Ty Clark was behind that driver, and turned on his emergency lights as he slowed to a near stop to collect the item. Investigators say a Boise man driving behind the officer then crashed into the back of his patrol car, unaware that the officer was slowing down.
A passenger in that car was taken to the hospital, as was officer Clark. So far, no word on their conditions.
