Bremerton, WA : Pedestrian killed in collision with truck on State Route 303 north of Riddell Road early Monday, November 7, 2016

A pedestrian was killed early Nov. 7 when he reportedly stepped in front of a pickup truck on State Route 303 just north of Riddell Road.

Washington State Patrol officers reported that the driver of a white 2015 Dodge pickup, Korey Allen Sanberg, 33, was traveling northbound on SR 303 when a 59-year-old man stepped into the road from the northbound shoulder and was struck by Sanberg’s pickup truck.

The cause of the crash was still under investigation. As of afternoon Nov. 9, the man’s identity had not been released, pending notification of his family.
