Linton,IN : Ice on road causes head-on collision on February, Tuesday 6th 2018
Slick road conditions are believed to be the cause of a head-on collision south of Linton Tuesday morning.
Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy James Carpenter investigated the accident around 8 a.m. in which he reported icy roads caused a vehicle to cross the center line and struck another vehicle head on.
According to a news release, Brei Followell, 21, Linton, was reportedly traveling southbound on State Road 59 just before 8 a.m. when her 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt began to slide due to ice on the road. She stated her vehicle slide into the northbound lane near the intersection at County Road 200 South.
