Croydon , PA : Biker seriously Injured in crash two collided, and the bike rider was thrown from his cycle on Saturday ,March 28th 2015

With weather getting warmer, more and more people will be riding motorcycles. A lot of them will get into accidents that were not their fault, when the driver of a car fails to see them. A crash on State Road in Croydon Pa., just before 11; a.m. today, March 28, 2015 appears to have been caused by the cycle rider. The rider suffered serious injuries from the crash. Preliminary reports were that a passenger vehicle and cycle were both traveling south on State Road.

As they both approached 4th Street, the car was attempting to turn left. It appears the bike rider tried to go around on the left side and beat the car in it's turn. He was attempting to pass the car. The two collided, and the bike rider was thrown from his cycle, which continued down the road into some grass about half a block from where the initial impact happened. Crews from The Croydon Fire Company arrived to stabilize the driver until ambulance crews could arrive. There were no passengers on the bike and the driver of the car was not hurt.

Bristol Fire Police closed State Road until the wreckage could be cleared. Traffic was detoured down smaller streets. Police were on scene for about an hour doing an investigation and waiting until wreckers could clear the scene. Road debris from the car and bike littered the area.
