Cocoa Beach, FL : Elderly man killed after hit by vehicle in Cocoa Beach on Friday night, March 27, 2015

Cocoa Beach police are investigating after a man in his 70s was struck by a car and killed.
Police responded to the crash scene about 8:30 p.m. Friday on the West Cocoa Beach Causeway and North Banana River Boulevard.
The unidentified man was taken to Cape Canaveral Hospital where he later died.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Police are still investigating what happened, and no charges have been filed against the driver.
