CHESTERFIELD, VA : 18-year-old motorcyclist dies in Chesterfield crash on Wednesday, 24th January 2024

An 18-year-old is dead after a crash in Chesterfield County on Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly after 3 p.m., officers were called to a crash in the 2400 block of Hicks Road.

Police say the driver of a 2003 Honda CBR motorcycle was heading west on Hicks Road near the intersection with Cardiff Lane.

“The motorcycle struck a vehicle stopped in traffic, entered the opposite lane of travel, and struck another vehicle head-on,” police said.
