FAYETTE COUNTY, IA : Arlington man facing OWI charges following crash on Tuesday, 17th September 2024

An Arlington man is facing several charges, including an OWI, following a crash on Tuesday.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office responded to C Avenue near 60th Street near Arlington around 11:17 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of a vehicle in a ditch.

It was discovered that 47-year-old Aaron David Elledge was traveling northbound when he entered the east side ditch. Elledge was impaired at the time and was taken to the Fayette County Jail.

Elledge faces charges of Operating While Intoxicated, Failure to Maintain Control, Driving While License Revoked, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
