WYTHE COUNTY, VA : Two injured after tractor-trailers crash on I-18 on Thursday, 4th January 2024

Two people were taken to the hospital after two tractor-trailers crashed on I-81 North in Wythe County on Jan. 4.

Details about what led to the crash are limited, however, around 1:17 a.m., the Rural Retreat Volunteer Fire Department and Rural Retreat EMS crews were called to a crash on I-81, at mile marker 61.8. When first responders arrived, they found two tractor-trailers with heavy damage.
