Filer, ID : 78-year-old Ronald Miller died in a hit and run crash on U.S. Highway 30 in Twin Falls County on Saturday morning, January 23, 2016

Idaho State Police are investigating a deadly hit and run crash that happened on Saturday morning in front the Franklin United Oil in Filer.

ISP says an unknown vehicle was driving west on U.S. Highway 30 when it struck a pedestrian. It happened at about 5:55 a.m. The pedestrian, Ronald Miller, 78, died at the scene.

Highway 30 was blocked for almost 3 hours.

ISP says they are following several leads. They say the vehicle may possibly be a light colored 4 door sedan.

If you have any information that may help locate and identify the vehicle or the driver, ISP is urging you to contact police.
