Seekonk, MA : 24-year-old South Attleboro man died after the motorcycle crash late Monday around 9:55 p.m June 2nd 2014.

A 24-year-old South Attleboro man died late Monday after the motorcycle he was driving struck a Nissan Altima in the rear, lost control and crashed.

The accident happened around 9:55 p.m. between exits 1 and 2 on Route 195. The motorcyclist was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Massachusetts State Police.

The 58-year-old driver of the 2003 Altima and his 50-year-old female passenger were not injured, police said.

The accident remains under investigation. The police declined to release the names of those involved pending the notification of the next of kin.
