DENVER, CO : Westbound lanes of I-70 reopen after crash on Saturday, 15th July 2023

reopened around 10:20 a.m., according to Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). CDOT first tweeted about the closure just after 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

All westbound lanes of I-70 were closed between Lookout Mountain and Genesee for about two hours.

Four cars were involved in the crash, according to Colorado State Patrol (CSP). A 40-year-old woman and her child sustained moderate to severe injuries and were taken to a hospital, Sergeant Troy Kessler with CSP said. Another driver, a 30-year-old woman, had minor injuries, according to Kessler.
