Auburn, WA : Car crash in injures 2, cuts power to 4,000 on Friday morning, March 31, 2017
Two people were hurt, a road was closed and power was out in an Auburn neighborhood after a car crash involving speed and alcohol.
The crash happened at about 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Police say 124th Avenue Southeast was closed Friday morning as they investigated the crash.
The crash in the Lea Hill neighborhood cut power to about 4,000 customers and caused some intersections to go dark. It has since been restored.
Auburn police said the male driver and female passenger both have serious injuries.
Officers say excess speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
