Oklahoma City, OK : One killed after being ejected in crash in southwest Oklahoma City Sunday afternoon, July 24, 2016
A person died Sunday afternoon after officials said a vehicle crashed into a wooded area in southwest Oklahoma City.
The single-car accident was reported around 2 p.m. near Southwest 107th Street and South Rockwell Avenue. Police believe the car was heading north on Southwest 107th Street when the driver lost control.
One person was believed to be ejected from a silver car, and a second person was trapped inside the car, officials said.
The person who was ejected died at the scene. The second person was rushed to the emergency room, officials said. That person's condition is not known.
Police have not released information about the victims.
No foul play is suspected in the crash, officials said. Authorities are working to determine what caused the accident.
