NORMAN, OK : Two dead in Norman crash on Monday, January, 8th 2018

Two people died in a head-on crash Tuesday afternoon.

About 12:30 p.m., an eastbound vehicle on State Highway 9 near 69th Avenue SE crossed the center line and hit a westbound vehicle. Both drivers died at the scene, police said.

No names were immediately released.

The highway is narrowed to one lane in both directions while the crash is being investigated.
