At least two people were killed and three others injured in a car crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 59 in Murray County near the South Dakota border, according to the state patrol.
The 3:23 p.m. crash occurred on Highway 59 north of Fulda when a 2005 Chevrolet Impala and a 2009 Toyota RAV 4 collided in a broadside accident.
Two passengers in the Toyota RAV, a 12-year-old and 9-year-old from Worthington, Minn., sustained non-life threatening injuries. The driver of that vehicle, David Schulz, 38, also of Worthington, received serious injuries in the crash.
The names and conditions of three other people involved in the crash were not released Sunday night.
The crash is under investigation.
