PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, MI : Ashtabula man dies in crash State Road in a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado on Saturday, 22nd September 2018

An Ashtabula man died Friday in a single-vehicle crash on State Road.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Wayne D. Housel, 62, of Ashtabula was traveling south on State Road in a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. At about 12:22 p.m., the vehicle went off the left side of the road, less than a quarter mile north of Ninety Road, struck a culvert and a tree before coming to a rest.

Plymouth Township Fire and EMS responded and Housel was transported to Ashtabula County Medical Center, where he died from injuries he sustained in the crash, according to the release.
