Winchester,VA : Manslaughter, drunken driving charges added against fatal crash driver on April, Thursday 5th 2018
The driver who state police said caused a March 24 head-on crash on Papermill Road that killed another driver and his passenger has been charged with drunken driving and two counts of involuntary manslaughter.
Anthony Dewayne Morris, 36, of Winchester, was indicted by a Frederick County grand jury on Thursday. He was charged on March 30 with reckless driving and driving without a license in connection with the crash that killed Michael Mercer, 59, and his father-in-law Jimmy Kilbourne Sr., 83, both of Stephens City. Morris was free on a $30,000 bond on those charges.
