Dubuque, IA : Xavier Guess seriously injured in 2-vehicle crash at Kennedy Road and Kaufmann Avenue in Dubuque on Tuesday, March 1, 2016

An Asbury, Iowa, teen reported possible injuries and was cited after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Dubuque.
Madeline M. Hilby, 17, reported possible injuries after the crash, which occurred at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Kaufmann Avenue, according to a Dubuque police report.
Police said Hilby was eastbound on Kaufmann Avenue at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday when she stopped at the intersection with Kennedy Road. She attempted to continue through the intersection on Kaufmann Avenue and collided with a vehicle driven by Ethan L. Marburger, 17, of Sherrill, Iowa, according to the report.
Marburger, who was driving south on Kennedy Road, told police he couldn't stop to avoid the crash because of the snowy road conditions.
